3 CONDITIONS TO BE ELIGIBLE

1

TO BE IN ACTIVITY

With the exception of the training leave scheme, VIVEA beneficiaries lose their entitlement to funding for continuing professional training course as soon as they cease to hold a status mentioned in the second condition above.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR VIVEA

Be a non-salaried farm or agricultural business manager or collaborating spouse or joint contributor (with actual professional activity) or family helper who come under the agricultural scheme, in the following sectors :

  • Farms and agricultural enterprises,

  • Forest works companies,

  • Agricultural works companies,

  • Companies in the horse sector.

Since the law of 17 December 2008, the spouse of the farm manager participating in the work or carrying out a regular activity on the farm must opt for one of the following "statuses": collaborator of the farm manager, employee or farm manager.

VIVEA can also pay for training courses for jobseekers or those setting up or taking over a business who do not receive funding from another continuing vocational training funding organisation.

The persons in the process of installation must have a certificate of eligibility of financing of VIVEA which, after elaboration of their personalized professionalization plan, can be given to them by the Center of Elaboration of Personalised Professionalisation Plans (CEPPP).

2

3

BE UP TO DATE WITH YOUR TRAINING CONTRIBUTION

VIVEA members can benefit from the training funding scheme only if they are up to date with their contributions.

People who have a payment schedule are considered to be "up to date" and can therefore be financed.

The situation is analyzed for year n-1 for a course followed in year n.

PROCEDURES FOR CHECKING ELIGIBILITY

The MSA (CGSS in the overseas departments) sends the file of contributors to VIVEA every month. This procedure makes it possible to inform VIVEA of their payment situation: only a contributor who is up to date with his contributions for year n-1 can have his training costs covered by VIVEA

Each contributor up to date with their contribution to the MSA can download the secure certificate "of regularity of situation with regard to the VIVEA training insurance fund" by going to their MSA internet account.
